FRENNL
Sinistre emergency, Belgium

Emergency post-fire intervention.

After a fire, soot and corrosive residue rapidly degrade surfaces, equipment and technical installations. We intervene with dry ice blasting to restore, limit damage and speed up your return to activity.

Why intervene quickly?

Soot contains acidic compounds and fine particles that embed, corrode and contaminate. The longer you wait, the more complex cleaning becomes and the higher the risk of degradation.

Limit corrosion

Reduce chemical attack on metals, stainless steel, components and structures.

Speed up recovery

Dry cleaning, no heavy disassembly, to get areas back in service quickly.

Preserve surfaces

Dry, non-abrasive method suited to sensitive surfaces (after testing).

Facilitate insurance

Documented intervention, before/after condition report for your claim file.

Surfaces treated

What we treat after a sinistre

  • Soot, smoke, corrosive residue on metals, stainless steel, structures
  • Industrial equipment: cabinets, frames, conveyors, presses, tools
  • Technical areas: motors, electrical parts, control panels
Why dry ice blasting?

A method built for emergencies

The process projects dry ice pellets (CO2) at high speed. The pellets sublimate on impact: no water, few secondary waste products and effective action on soot and grime, all while respecting surfaces.

01

Dry

No rinsing needed, ideal in technical environments.

02

Non-abrasive

Less risk on sensitive substrates (case dependent).

03

Fast

Reduces downtime and site duration.

04

Clean

Little waste, mostly recovering the loosened soot.

Our method

Our post-fire method

1

Diagnosis & securing

Analysis of substrates, contamination level, access, risks and priority areas.

2

Targeted cleaning

Settings (pressure, flow, nozzles) adapted to the surface: precise action, no unnecessary disassembly.

3

Inspection & restoration

Visual inspection, finishing, protection recommendations and scheduling if multiple areas are involved.

Applications

Frequent use cases

Workshops & technical areas

Restoration of equipment, structures, production areas.

Multi-zone sites

Priority-based intervention to limit downtime and secure areas.

Sensitive substrates

"Test-zone" approach with fine-tuned settings depending on substrate.
