Dry ice blasting in the printing industry

Yes. Dry ice blasting is effective on offset, flexo, screen printing, UV and solvent-based inks. The thermal effect of the ice weakens dried ink deposits while the kinetic impact loosens them. Icetec adapts pressure depending on the type of ink and substrate.
No, this is precisely the main advantage. Cleaning is done in place, rollers stay installed on the press. This eliminates risks related to disassembly and reassembly, and considerably reduces machine downtime.
No. Icetec systematically performs an adjusted pressure test before the full intervention. Dry ice does not scratch or degrade standard rubber coatings. Pressure is lowered for sensitive rollers.
